Welcome to our newest team member Mar-2017 NeSI's newest team member is Shen Wang. Shen has come on board as an Analyst Programmer based at the University of Auckland.He writes: "I come from a commercial programming background and have over seven years of experience in Front End and J2EE web application development. I got my Masters degree in Singapore and worked there before moving to New Zealand.""My primary responsibilities are for the design, implementation and support of business support systems around HPC for collaboration and integration." NeSI @ Otago Day Dec-2016 NeSI provides a range of services supporting researchers across disciplines at a number of institutions in New Zealand. On October 30 the University of Otago held a "NeSI @ Otago" event which was then followed by a two-day Software Carpentry workshop. Read more
