New training videos to help you make the most of using NeSI's HPC platform

From April - May 2021, NeSI hosted a ‘NeSI know-how’ webinar mini-series. These short & sharp sessions shared a taste for what is possible when you work on NeSI platforms.

  • 4 Tips for getting started with NeSI

NeSI's Research Communities Advisor Nooriyah Lohani walks through a few quick tips and best practices for anyone wanting to know the basics of high performance computing on NeSI. Nooriyah presents 4 mini-topics geared towards users who are new to HPC environments and command line navigation:

  • High performance computing (HPC) jargon - learn the lingo,

  • NeSI file structure,

  • Secure Copy (SCP) and data transfer basics, and

  • How to get support as someone new to NeSI.
