The 2021 Research Software Engineer (RSE) international survey has ~11 responses from the community in New Zealand so far and 599 responses globally.

Next week, as part of eResearch NZ 2022, the research sector will be gathering online to discuss and explore successful research community collaborations, data goverance best practice, infrastructure innovations, skill capabilities, and other key drivers behind the science and innovation ecosystem.

Are you interested in digital skills training for researchers? If yes, you may be interested in learning about The Carpentries, a community-centric organisation committed to teaching foundational coding, and data science skills to researchers worldwide. In New Zealand, The Carpentries community is growing as more institutions and universities run Software Carpentry, Data Carpentry, and Library Carpentry workshops and have staff attend instructor training. 

We have an exciting opportunity in product development and integration, to support and lead key aspects of NeSI's evolution and growth. You will be working within a small multi-product team located across NZ, sitting within our head office at the University of Auckland.Applications must be submitted online by Monday 21 February 2022 to be considered.
