New Zealand Institutional Repository Community Days
The New Zealand Repository Community Day(s) is an unconference style meeting for those involved with collecting theses, dissertations and green open access material. It has been held yearly for four or five years.
The first day will focus on institutional repository topics, such as software upgrades, marketing, technical and institutional issues. The second day will include extra discussions about Research Data Management and any other topics the attendees still want to talk about. Past themes for the more general second day have included open access and indigenous knowledge. Attendees come from all the major academic institutions, as well as Crown Research Institutes, business and government.
The informal style is practical and aimed at those who are actively hands on with the repository and developing policy, rather than higher level management concerns.
Date: August 29th and 30th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Room 040, the University of Auckland Business School, 12 Grafton Rd, Auckland.
