Upcoming AU/NZ Carpentries Community Call in April

On Tuesday 13 April from 3:00PM NZST, NeSI and ARDC will be co-hosting an Australia-New Zealand Carpentries community discussion.

This will be first in a series of quarterly community calls that will allow NZ based Carpentries instructors & enthusiasts to build closer and stronger partnerships with our colleagues across the Tasman!

Two guest speakers from both countries have been invited to speak on the topic Preparing for your first workshop - putting training into practice.

The Carpentries comprises Software CarpentryData Carpentry, and Library Carpentry communities who share a mission to teach foundational computational and data management skills to researchers.

The upcoming call will give community members an opportunity to reflect on the pedagogy that motivates Carpentries instructors, instructor trainees, and supporters.

As always, we welcome any comments and questions at these community calls. If you are a Carpentries Instructor/Helper/Learner/Community Member, want to run your own Carpentries Workshops, or just want to know more about The Carpentries, you are encouraged to join us on the call.
