NeSI know-how webinar 1: 4 tips for getting started with NeSI

In this webinar, we'll walk through a few quick tips and best practices for anyone wanting to know the basics of high performance computing on NeSI. NeSI's Nooriyah Lohani will present 4 mini-topics geared towards users who are new to HPC environments and command line navigation. Explanations will be simple, straightforward and will cover:

  • High performance computing (HPC) jargon - learn the lingo,
  • NeSI file structure,
  • Secure Copy (SCP) and data transfer basics, and
  • How to get support as someone new to NeSI

We are excited to offer this webinar so that researchers can feel confident and supported as new HPC users who want to dive in and run jobs ASAP.
