Advance your digital skills with the NeSI Team at ResBaz Aotearoa 2025

ResBaz Aotearoa 2025, a week-long series of digital research skills sessions delivered online, has opened registration.

More than 40 free sessions will run from 30 June - 04 July, taught by researchers and specialists in research support. All Aotearoa researchers and postgraduate research students from ANY discipline are invited to look at the schedule and register for individual sessions

The programme is a mix of shorter ‘taster’ sessions and longer, practical, hands-on sessions, aimed at active researchers. Topics relate to research data management, Linux command line, advanced computing tools and techniques... and much more.

We'll hear from a panel of speakers who entered High Performance Computing (HPC) with no prior knowledge or background working with HPC / digital approaches in research. Facilitated by the Women in HPC Australasian Chapter, the panel will share their stories of what it was like to learn from scratch, what tips & tricks worked for them, and how they overcame challenges - championing the message that "anyone can be successful in this space".
