NZ Research Software Engineering Conference kicks off this week!

Nearly 200 people are registered to attend NeSI's inaugural NZ Research Software Engineering Conference. The programme kicked off on Wednesday 09 September and features three days of talks, demos, networking sessions, and hands-on workshops. 

As an inaugural event, it's exciting to see the support and interest from the community so far:

As part of the closing remarks, NeSI Director Nick Jones will announce the winners of NeSI's pre-conference Hackathon, which 35 people were tinkering on from 3-8 September, using a data science problem contributed by QuakeCoRE.
