Registration now open for eResearch NZ 2022 online programme!

Following consultation with the community and deliberation within the eResearch NZ 2022 Organising Committee, the event's programme is moving online rather than proceeding with a hybrid approach. The dates remain the same, 9-11 February 2022, and organisers will continue to work closely with the 2022 partner institution, Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha University of Canterbury (UC).

Committing to the shift now ensures we've got certainty in our approach (no last-minute pivots due to unforeseen Covid-19 circumstances) and we can use the next few months to focus on making this an excellent online conference.

Registration is now open!

Tertiary students can register for free!

With our shift online, we're keen to broaden the reach of our event, particularly to those still developing their academic careers exploring or innovating the ways digital tools and techniques can advance research outcomes.

eResearch NZ 2022 has opportunities for skills training, professional development, and mentoring so please invite any tertiary students you think would be interested!

Sneak peak at the preliminary programme

Last week we unveiled a preliminary programme to share the topics and speakers we've assembled. With our confirmed shift to online, we'll be tweaking the schedule a bit more (expect more short breaks throughout the day!) and will announce a new version soon.

Opportunities for in-person hubs

As we shift the main eResearch NZ programme online, we're inviting regional partners to consider hosting in-person gatherings aligned with the conference.
If you are interested in hosting a local meetup of some sort, let us know and we can help advertise it through the conference communications channels.
