Introduction to HPC Using NeSI @ University of Otago, Medical School

Join us on January 23-24, 2018 for a hands-on introduction to High Performance Computing (HPC) using one of the clusters provided by New Zealand eScience Infrastructure (NeSI).

You will learn how to access and use the cluster, submit computational jobs using job scheduler, and how to transfer your data between the cluster and your storage.

This is a hands-on workshop and we will be working in the computer lab, however, the participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops to be able to follow the instruction. If you are running Windows on your laptop, please install MobaXterm before the workshop. If you are running Mac OS or Linux, you don't need to install anything.

You will also need internet access. Please make sure that you can connect the laptop you will be using to the available WiFi.
