NeSI Analyst Programmer (Fixed Term)

The Analyst Programmer role, whilst employed by the University of Auckland, is a national role whose primary responsibilities are for the design and implementation of end-user services supporting researchers.

This includes end user driven software design, solution evaluation, integration and development, across web applications and APIs and databases. A key goal of the role is to support evolution of the business processes and practices of NeSI to deliver user experiences valued by end users.

This is a specialised role, requiring a strong background in the analysis of requirements and design for new services or enhancement to existing services in order to optimise user experience and organisational processes. As a member of a team that is providing national solutions in the high-performance computing and eScience domain, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the country and internationally to develop and deliver a state-of-the art eScience infrastructure.

If you’re interested in picking up a national challenge and be part of something unique that hasn’t been done before in New Zealand, this role may be just right for you.
